    Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Programs

Saskatchewan is a Canadian province located in the country’s grassland area. It is bordered on the south by the United States, on the north by the Northwest Territories, on the west by Alberta, and on the east by Manitoba. Saskatchewan is renowned as Canada’s sunniest province. According to the 2019 census, the province’s population was 1.174 million. It has a total size of 651,900 square kilometers. Saskatchewan is primarily farmland, and it is oddly rectangular. Saskatchewan is one of Canada’s most varied provinces. The vegetation and visual attractiveness enhance its allure. Furthermore, the growing economy and increasingly varied culture make newcomers feel more welcome.

    • Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Program

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), which is part of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), is a set of immigration procedures that allows foreign individuals to become permanent residents of Canada. The PNP is aimed to recruit immigrants in areas that would benefit the province, such as skilled workers, workers in industries where there are labor shortages, employees with job offers, and entrepreneurs. The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in Saskatchewan is a subset of the provincial nominee program. It enables Saskatchewan to employ highly trained personnel. The hiring is based on the province’s labor market and economic demands. There are three types of immigration streams in operation in the province:

    • Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker
    • Saskatchewan Experience
    • Saskatchewan Entrepreneur and Farm

    • Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker

The Saskatchewan International Talented Worker program consists of three immigration streams aimed at skilled individuals who can readily integrate into Saskatchewan’s workforce and adjust to living in the province. Some streams favor people with experience in industries with labor shortages, while others focus on employees who have received job offers from Saskatchewan firms.

The further division of programs under Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker are:

    • Saskatchewan Express Entry

This sub-category is for skilled individuals who have been accepted into the federal Express Entry program and wish to live and work in Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan immigration process can also be done by a new Express Entry profile and expressing a formal interest in the province. After that, Immigration Saskatchewan might choose interested people and invite them to apply for the SINP. Once you’ve been nominated, your Express Entry profile will be updated with your Saskatchewan nomination certificate, which will provide you 600 points under the Comprehensive Ranking System. During the next Express Entry lottery, you might obtain an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence in Canada.

    • Saskatchewan Employment Offer

This sub-stream is for skilled worker applicants who have a job offer in Saskatchewan and are seeking for immigration.

This sub-channel is for skilled employees who do not have a job offer but are highly proficient in selected professions in Saskatchewan’s great demand.

    • Saskatchewan Experience

Saskatchewan Experience is a collection of five immigration streams aimed at employees with prior work experience in Saskatchewan. Workers in these streams must also have a job offer from a Saskatchewan company in order to stay in the province. Certain streams give preference to people with experience in industries where there are labor shortages in the province.

    • Saskatchewan Existing Work Permit

This sub-channel is for workers who have received a job offer from a company in the same province and have worked for the company for at least six months.

    • Saskatchewan Health Professionals

Physicians, nurses, and other healthcare workers belong under this sub-category. A minimum of six months of work experience is necessary.

    • Saskatchewan Hospitality Sector Project

This program is for persons who are still employed in the hospitality industry and have been offered full-time employment.

    • Saskatchewan Long-Haul Truck Driver Project

The workers who have received a job offer from a Saskatchewan trucking firm and have worked for the same company for at least six months are eligible for this program.

    • Saskatchewan Students

Students who have recently graduated from any Canadian university and have worked in Saskatchewan for at least six months. The Saskatchewan Students subcategory is for students who have obtained permanent, full-time employment offer from a valid Saskatchewan employer after graduating from Canada’s recognized post-secondary educational institution.

Before the application process, the SINP must authorize the employment offer.

The employer must first register on the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program Employer website to seek this permission. A Job Approval Letter will be given if the offer is accepted. Along with the candidate’s SINP application, a copy of this document must be supplied.

Saskatchewan Entrepreneur and Farm is a combination of two immigration streams geared for those with expertise in business management who want to start a new enterprise in Saskatchewan. The entrepreneurial stream is for general entrepreneurs with company plans in various areas, whereas the farm owner and operator stream are for agricultural entrepreneurs.

    • Saskatchewan Entrepreneur

This program intends to invite entrepreneurs and business owners to invest in the province.

    • Saskatchewan Farm Owners and Operators

This stream is specifically related to the agricultural sector that provides opportunities for Farm Owners and operators.

Furthermore, the Saskatchewan Provincial Nominee Programs also provide a fast-track immigration pathway to multiple aspirants. If you are low in Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score, there may be an excellent opportunity to become a permanent resident of Canada. By entering the Express Entry pool, you may receive a nomination from Saskatchewan.

In that case, you can also become eligible for its further divided streams. In case of a provincial nomination, the applicants receive additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The additional points ensure an applicant’s invitation in a draw.

If you are interested to become a permanent resident of Canada, you can contact us and present your case. By making assessments of your educational background, and other details, we suggest you an optimal pathway to become a permanent resident of Canada.
